The National Karate Championship took place on the 17th and 18th of October 2024 at the Bandaragama Indoor Stadium, where 16 male and female Sapper karate players representing the Army team displayed remarkable skill and determination. Their hard work paid off as they secured a total of 12 medals, including 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.

In accordance with the directions, supervision and guidance of the Commander Plant Engineer Brigade, three day basic workshop on Survey Engineering was successfully conducted for the troops of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers from 14 October 2024 to 16 October 2024 at the Plant Engineer Brigade premises. This three day workshop was conducted to enhance the theoretical, technical, and practical capabilities of military engineers to cater to basic surveying tasks assigned to the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
