Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) organized a donation programme under the close supervision of Mrs Sagara Gunawardena, the president of SVB - SLE on 26 November 2020 with the support of the few donors. The donation included five Prosthetic Legs and a Bath Room set for six differently abled soldier of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The programme aims to motivate differently abled soldiers, improve their welfare facilities and make their life style into a comfortable one.
Five Prosthetic Legs worth of Rs. 100,000.00 and Bath Room set worth of 30,000.00 were symbolically handed over to S/245099 Cpl Saman Kumara HM who lost his Left Leg during the battle field by Mrs Sagara Gunawardena, the President of SVB - SLE together with Mrs Surangi Amarapala - Senior member of SVB - SLE, Mrs Anoma Samarasinghe, Mrs Piumie Wijesuriya and the Brigadier Mangala Mayadunna - Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
The cost of Prosthetic Legs and Bath Room set amounting to Rs. 130,000.00, was borne by the following donors who were coordinated by Mrs Surangi Amarapala.

The programme was conducted adhering to health safety guidelines and social distancing practices.
