Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Regimental Headquarter hosted a farewell parade on 03 May 2023 for one of its proud Senior Officers, Brigadier M Mayadunna RSP USP, who retiring after a dedicated service of more than three decades. The day’s ceremony commenced with the customary Guard Turnout and a formal farewell parade that followed at the RHQ parade ground.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers extended its assistance to the needy in Embilipitiya in line with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Under the guidance of the President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch Madame Shammi Jayawardena, dry rations and dinner was provided to the elderly at the Kusuma Elderly Home on 13 April 2023.

As a part of the high-level UN Assessment and Advisory Visit (AAV) to Sri Lanka 05 UN representatives visited the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering on Wednesday (22) March, 2023. The UN delegation was headed by Mr. James Victor D’Ercole, and members comprised were Mr. Satvinder Singh Paul, Mr. Mark Flood, Colonel Lawrence Kapina Jabati and Lieutenant Colonel Rajeev. The delegation was accompanied by Director General Overseas Operation Maj Gen Asanga Perera and his staff.
