27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers convened on Friday, 19th July 2024 at the Regimental Center, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, presided by Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President SLE Seva Vanitha Branch. This significant gathering was attended by the Executive Committee, Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage (Secretary), Mrs. Anupama Rathnayake (Treasurer), and Mrs. Subhashini Madurapperuma (Public Coordinating Officer) and spouses of Serving Officers of the Corps.

Major General M P K Madurapperuma RSP USP psc officially assumed duties as the 17th Chief Field Engineer (CFE) of the Sri Lanka Army during a charming ceremony held at Army Headquarters on Tuesday, 15 July 2024. In a solemn and symbolic gesture, upon arrival at his new office, the newly appointed CFE signed an official document, signifying his acceptance of this prestigious position amid a backdrop of religious observances.

The Plant Engineer Brigade celebrates its 6th anniversary with a series of events to remark Brigade Day. The celebration was commenced with Cricket Tournament among Brigade Troops to enhance comradeship and cooperation. Religious activities commenced with a “Dharma Deshanawa” which was arranged in the evening hours on 10 July 2024 and “Heel Danaya” was offered to the Kanthale Temple.
