VISIT OF THE COMMANDER FIELD ENGINEER BRIGADE TO 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Commander of Field Engineer Brigade, Colonel H K P Karunathilaka RSP made his maiden official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 08 July 2024.

Upon the arrival, Brigade Commander was accorded with a Guard Turnout at the main entrance and warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment, Major L V R C N Bandara RSP psc SLE by extending a gracious welcome on behalf of all Ranks of the Regiment followed by planting a Jack sapling at unit premises.

Subsequently, the Commanding Officer presented a comprehensive briefing about operational functions and the operational readiness of the 10 Field Engineer Regiment.

Following the formalities, the Commander Field Engineer Brigade addressed all ranks of the regiment and emphasized the necessity of maintaining the military discipline at all levels and the value of military services.

Subsequent to the troop address, the Brigade Commander was invited for the all ranks tea at Sappers mess and later visited the on-going demining site at Palali (N-DA-JA 323 Palaly East).

Prior to culminate the visit Brigade Commander penned his wishes on the Visitors’ book at the Officers’ Mess.
