The 14 Chemical Biological Radiology and Nuclear Response Regiment proudly marked their 15 Anniversary magnificently with series of religious and ceremonial formalities during 14 and 15 July 2023 at the Home of Sappers’, Mattegoda. The series of events consisted with Inter Squadrons Cricket Tournament, Dharma Sermon Programme, Battalion Parade, Planting of Sapling, All Ranks Lunch and session was winded up with a Musical Night under the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 14 CBRN Response Regiment Lt Col BMPK Beligahawaththa RSP USP SLE.

This course was held from 23 April 2023 to 14 June 2023 under close supervision of the Commander Field Engineering Brigade, Brigadier DP Jayasinghe RSP.

In observing the traditions of the Poson Poya Festival, a “Maha Bath Dansala” was organized by the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering in Embilipitiya. The dansala was a success due to the generous assistance of the local community and the staff of SLSME. The dansala which was inaugurated at 1300 hr was able to provide meals for approximately 3,600 devotees. In addition to the dansala, SLSME exhibited a large rotating mechanical lantern in the Ranna Poson Poya zone in the Hambantota district.
