27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers convened on Friday, 19th July 2024 at the Regimental Center, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, presided by Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President SLE Seva Vanitha Branch. This significant gathering was attended by the Executive Committee, Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage (Secretary), Mrs. Anupama Rathnayake (Treasurer), and Mrs. Subhashini Madurapperuma (Public Coordinating Officer) and spouses of Serving Officers of the Corps.
The meeting served as a platform to discuss and express concerns regarding future welfare projects designed to uplift the living standard of the Soldiers and Civil Servants of the Corps. Participants engaged in constructive dialogue aimed at enhancing the well-being and support systems for members associated with the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
A highlight of the event was an enlightening Guest Lecture on 'Self Grooming Session' conducted by Mrs. Chandhani Bandara, Chairperson of 4ever Skin Naturals. This session not only provided valuable insights, but also included practical demonstrations, enriching the experience of attendees.
Following the formal proceedings, the Annual General Meeting transitioned into a Ladies Get-Together at the officers’ mess, fostering a warm and congenial atmosphere. This gathering was attended by retired Presidents and esteemed members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, allowing for further networking and the exchange of ideas.
