THE COMMANDANT’S COURTESY VISITS TO ALL FOUR WINGS

On 23rd and 24th August 2023, Brigadier M T I Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc after officially taking over his duties as the 36th Commandant- SLMA visited all four Wings governed under the umbrella of the Headquarters- SLMA; his visit commenced with the Officer Cadet Wing and then Academic Wing, Military Training Wing and finally Administration Wing. During his visits, the Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Wing Heads and staff of the respective Wings, and briefed him on the role and tasks of the particular Wing, and their progressive plans related to officer cadets training, upcoming Academy events etc. At all these visits, the Commandant credited the diversified roles played by each Wing and highlighted the importance of high contribution as well as cooperation among all Wings to function perfectly to achieve the organizational goals. As a part of the programme of Wing visits, the prominent places, installations and facilities under each Wing were also closely inspected during his visits.
