This competition is held annually to test basic battle craft and firing skills of officer cadets when operating in sections. This will also help them improve their leadership skills in a battle environment. The competencies that are tested during the firing meet include, leadership skills, skills of clearing obstacles, section level fire and manoeuvre, skills of effective engagement of targets in a battle environment, improvement of speed, aggressiveness and confidence of officer cadets in a battle environment.
