Goodbye to Three Senior Officers

In the voyage of military career, farewells are temporary goodbyes to the institute which someone serves and leaves till s/he comes again.

Sri Lanka Military Academy bid farewell to three outgoing senior officers namely Director Academics, Col R A S M Ranasinghe RSP USP psc lsc of MIC, Mess Manager Maj HMSH Jayatissa of SLLI and Garrison Engineer Maj S P G C Fernando of CES on 09 April 2022. In honour and gratitude of their commendable service in diversified calibers, a traditional tea party was hosted with the presence of all ranks of the military academy and tokens of appreciation were also presented to these officers by the Commandant.

During the farewell, HOD- Languages Division Lt Col Kelum Wickramasighe SLAGSC, made special notes on the key role each one of the officers played in varied capacities for the improvements of the academy during their tenures at the academy. Meanwhile, the Commandant underscored how the academy was highly benefited and fostered by these three officers in terms of academics, administration and infrastructure development.

Finally, all the participants acknowledged the outgoing senior officers and extended their well wishes for beautiful career ahead of their ways.
