Religious Priority at the Threshold of an Exciting Military Career

Regardless of differences of caste and creed, thousands of locals and tourists visit Kataragama, a Sri Lanka’s multi religious sacred place and emanate divine blessings from God Kataragama to overcome their personal problems or success of their jobs.

On 29 January 2022, officer cadets of Intake 92, Lady 19, SC 20 (V) and DE 1/2022 went on a pilgrimage to Kataragama where prominent sacred places such as Kirivehera, Kataragama Devol, Wedihiti Kanda and Sella Kataragama withstand in acceptance.

The underlined aim of this non-military outing was to invoke blessings for successful completion of military training of these Intakes. Further, this becomes a joyful and educative outing for the fresh trainee cadets to be exposed to Sri Lankan heritages and to accumulate knowledge on pre-history of Sri Lanka.
