The 126th Drill Instructors Course consisting of 128 SNCOs from 24 Regiments of the Sri Lanka Army began their comprehensive Drill Instructors’ Course conducted by the Sri Lanka Military Academy on 19 January 2022 and the course will be reading the conclusion on 30th April. The opening address of the course was held at the Sino Lanka Friendship Auditorium with the participation of the Commandant as the Chief Guest.
By speaking to the students, the Commandant underscored how the SLMA pioneered the need of Army by training and grooming professional drill instructors to the Sri Lanka Army apart from playing the dynamic role of producing young leaders to the Army. The NCOs were advised to follow the well- structured course curriculums with determination and optimism which will lead to successfully accomplish the ambition of being a professional drill instructor of the victorious army.
The significant moment of the 126th DI Course, the opening ceremony was witnessed by the Deputy Commandant, Wing Heads, Senior Officers, Officers and the other rank instructors of the Academy.
