INTAKE KDU 39 ON A VOYAGE

The first day of the basic military training is a very special occasion of an Officer Cadet’s life. Intake KDU 39 consisting of 102 energetic youth began their intensive military training on 1 November 2021 and their Opening Address was held at Sino-Lanka Friendship Auditorium.

During their short stay at the Military Academy, Diyatalawa, they will be exposed to the military lifestyle by laying a strong military foundation.

The Opening Address was made by the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Military Academy, Brigadier WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP USP ndu psc who underscored the importance of having a strong military base to initiate the military training and to successfully progress through their military career. Meanwhile, Wing Heads, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks also attended this important event.
