The 125th Drill Instructor Course consisting of 139 Non-Commissioned Officers began to sail its journey of a comprehensive and intensive drill instructor course for four months. The course curriculum has been designed to produce knowledgeable, disciplined and skillful drill instructors to the Sri Lanka Army .
The opening ceremony of the DIC no 125 was held at Sino-Lanka Friendship Auditorium on 02 August 2021 with the participation of Brigadier KDML Samaradiwakara RWP RSP psc, the Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Military Academy as the Chief Guest together with Wing Heads, senior officers, officers and other ranks. After the ceremony, they had their memorable camp visit and a Bodi Puja held at the Ella Camp temple premises showered them with blessings to follow the course successfully.
