In a highly commercialized global environment, financial discipline is a sensitive area to which every human is subjected to due to the fact that poor financial management leads not only to a lot of socio-economic issues but also health issues.
A series of timely lecture sessions on CRIB as per the direction of the Commandant of the SLMA was conducted by a team of professionals from Credit Information Bureau (CRIB) of Sri Lanka comprising with Mr. Indika Dissanayaka – Manager Operations, Mr. Sadamal Wanigasooriya – Asst Manager Customer Services, Mr. Udana Weerasinghe – Senior Executive ITC, Mr Kanaishka Gunawardane – Senior Relationship Officer – Customer Services and Mr. K Vageesan – Relationship Officer – Customer Service at the Sino-Lanka Friendship Auditorium on Saturday (10 April) for NCOs, Officer Cadets, Officers of the Military Academy. The fruitful sessions widened the participants’ knowledge on financial matters and the problems which are likely to appear on their way in dealing with financial affairs. Hence, the programme imparted the much-needed practical exposure to carefully plan finances.
The CRIB team was presented with a plaque as a token of appreciation for volunteering their time to educate the SLMA personnel on CRIB related matters.
