EXERCISE SCORPION

Final term officer cadets of Intakes 88, 88 Bravo and Lady 18 successfully completed filed exercise SCORPION, one of the major exercise during their training period. The Exercise was conducted in four detachements at Wellawaya with the objective of providing the practical knowledge on military engagement in Internal Security situations.

The participants were able to acquire an indepth knowledge and to expose to Road Block, VIP Protection, CIMIC, Crowd Dispersal and Cordon and Search operations. The senior officers, officers and civil authority worked hand in hand to teach and guide them to understand the contexts and the complexity of the kind of operations.

During the exercise, they involved in some charitable and meritous deeds such as donating some stationary to the needy schoolgoing children of the area and involving with a Shramadana campaign at Ella Wala.
