The “ Language Day 2019” of Intakes Lady 17, l6 (V), KDU 37, 89 and 90 was glamorously held on 30th November 2019 at the Sino-Lanka Friendship Auditorium where the Commandant, Brig S K Eshwaran graced the occasion as the Chief Guest together with all Wing Heads and most of the faculty members. The event was a wonderful opportunity for officer cadets to show their talents and skills they have acquired, primarily from the language learning programme conducted by the Academy.
The event was colored by a number of well-organized and dazzling events performed by officer cadets. The Language Day titled ‘Metamorphosis Takes Off” with the theme “Empowering Communication’ emphasized the importance of language acquisition for enhanced performance by officer cadets. The award for the best drama was won by Intake KDU 37 for their performance in the comic drama, ‘Crazy Court’ and the award for the best song was won by Intake 89.
