WARM WELCOME TO NEW COMMANDING OFFICER

In keeping with traditions of the Sri Lanka Military Academy, a ceremonial parade was accorded to the newly appointed Commanding Officer, Colonel R A D S Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc of the Officer Cadet Wing on 5^th April 2019. After inspecting the parade, he addressed the officers, other ranks and officer cadets.

Colonel Shantha Ranaweera, who will function as the 37^th commanding officer of the Officer Cadet Wing, is a veteran infantryman from the Gajaba Regiment with 30 years of extensive experience in command, staff and instructor appointments.
