MEDIA BRIEFING OF TWENTY SEVENTH FOX HILL SUPERCROSS

The Media Briefing of “27^th Fox Hill Supercross 2019”, the mega annual motor sport event in the country, was held at the Hilton Hotel Colombo on 05^th April 2019. It was chaired by the Commandant Brigadier S K Eshwaran (The Chairman of Fox Hill Supercross 2019) while Retired Major Dilhan Jayawardane the President of Sri Lanka Automobile Sports , Mr Chamikara Pilapitiya the Vice President of Federation of Motorcycle Sports in Sri Lanka, Rizvi Farouk the Secretary of Sri Lanka Automobile Sports and a host of sponsors that included Hutchinson Telecommunications Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd (Prima Group), LOLC Insurance ,Browns Exide, Hilton Hotel Colombo, Northpole Engineering Pvt Ltd, Rainco Pvt Ltd, also participated in the event.

Consecutively the 27^th Fox hill Supercross will be conducted in collaboration with three organizations connected to Sri Lanka Army Motor Sports Committee , Sri Lanka Automobile Sports and the Federation of Motorcycle Sports in Sri Lanka.

The Commandant in his address paid tribute to the pioneers: late Maj Gen Gamini Gunasekera, the legendary rider late Mr. Ananda Wedisinghe along with other officers and Mr Hans Ralf. He further stated that all funds will be used to develop infrastructure and training facilities of the institute that trains officer cadets.

The success of the event was marked by the large number of media personnel present from both print and electronic media together with all the Sponsors, who expressed their pleasure of being able to join hands with the Sri Lanka Military Academy, the organizers of the event.

The 27^th Fox Hill Supercross 2019 will take wings at famous Fox Hill circuit Diyatalawa from 9 am onwards on 21^st April 2019.
