The Oaths Ceremony of Intake 87 B and Lady 17 took place on 20th February 2019 at the Academy Gymnasium where 219 lady and gentleman cadets read the oaths of allegiance to the Sri Lanka Military Academy, Army and the country.
This customary event was attended by the Chief Instructor of the Military Training Wing, Colonel Nilantha Premaratne along with Company Commanders and Course Officers.
Simultaneous to the ceremony, the trainees wore white epaulettes on their shoulders with the pledge to obey the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Sri Lanka Military Academy and military traditions, customs and practices of the Army.
