THIRTY-THIRD COMMANDANT ASSUMES DUTIES AT SLMA

Brigadier S K Eshwaran RSP psc Hdmc, who was trained at the very institute 31 years ago with Intake 27, took over duties as the thirty-third Commandant of the Sri Lanka Military Academy, Diyatalawa on January 17^th, 2019. Upon arrival, he laid a wreath at the Monument of Peace erected to honour the fallen officers.

The SLMA, as customary, accorded a parade to the new Commandant officially welcoming him to the institute. After taking over duties, he addressed all officers at the New Auditorium where he underscored the importance of professional outlook and teamwork among Wings for best desired results.
