FINAL PRESENTATION AND BOOK LAUNCH

On 14^th evening the passing out officer cadets conducted the traditional research based Final Presentation on “Non-traditional Threats and Challenges to Sustained Peace in Sri Lanka” which was attended by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General N U M M W Senanayake as the Chief Guest together with a few former Commandants, all senior officers of the Army, Defence attaches and Advisors of friendly foreign countries and officers of the Military Academy.

At the end of the Final Presentation, two publications; “Reforming the Sri Lanka Army in order to Face Future Challenges” and the Sinhala version of “The Recurrence and Intensity of Natural Disasters Have a Devastating Impact on World Peace and Security: The Role of Armed Forces” which were self-published by the Academy were launched and the first copies were presented to Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, the Commander of the Army by Brigadier H H A S P K Senaratne, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Military Academy.
