The officer cadets of Intake 85, 86, 86 B, 58(V), Lady 16 and Lady 15(V) participated in the “Ex Wanabambara”, the last and the longest of all exercises conducted by the SLMA from 18th October 2018 to 10th November 2018. This company level exercise, conducted in Walamandiya, Maduru Oya, is designed to test their ability in planning and conducting counterinsurgency operations in jungle and rural areas as platoon commanders.
The Commandant of the institute, Brigadier Priyantha Senaratne visited the area during the final phase of the exercise.
