EXERCISE SCORPION AT WELLAWAYA

The “Exercise Scorpion,” one of the main exercises in the training curriculum at Sri Lanka Military Academy was conducted from 2^nd to 08^th September 2018 in the general area of Wellawaya. The officer cadets of Intakes 86B, Lady16/15(V) and 58(V) participated in the exercise.

The purpose of conducting the exercise is to give trainees practical knowledge on Internal Security (IS) Operations in situations where civilians and public institutions are involved. The Commandant, Brigadier Priyantha Senaratne visited the exercise during the latter part of it.
