The Sri Lanka Military Academy conducted the first-ever Commandant’s Colours Awarding Ceremony in conjunction with the 26th Academy Day at the Colonel Fazly Laphir Memorial Auditorium on 28th August 2018.
It was organized with the aim of giving due recognition to the trainees who performed outstandingly during the preceding year and setting conditions to inspire other trainee Officer Cadets to come up with their hidden skills in military disciplines. The Commandant graced the event as the Chief Guest along with the Deputy Commandant, all Wing Heads, faculty members and officer cadets.
The Colours were awarded to the Best Shot, Best Male and Female Athletes, Best Swimmer, Best Section Commander and respective nominees of Commandant’s Honour selected from the Inter-Company Completions held during the year 2018.
