A ceremonial parade was accorded to the Commandant, Brigadier H H A S P K Senaratne on account of the 26th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Military Academy on 28th August 2018. The parade consisted of eight squads representing four wings and cadet companies and it was commanded by Colonel Nilantha Premaratne, the Chief Instructor of the Military Training Wing.
The Deputy Commandant, wing heads, all officers, civilian lecturers, officer cadets and other rank Instructors of the Academy participated in the event.
The 26th Anniversary celebrations of the Academy culminated with a sumptuous “All Ranks Lunch” organized by the Administration Wing.
