A delegation of officers including the Chief Instructor, Brig Gen S M Mahbub and seven officers of the Directing Staff of the Bangladesh Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) together with their families called on the Military Academy, Diyatalawa on 7th July. They were extended a warm welcome by the Wing Heads and other officers of the Academy.
Upon arrival, they laid a wreath at the “Monument of Peace” in paying tribute to the fallen war heroes. Subsequently, they listened to a presentation on the Military Academy and cadet life.
The delegation also visited the stable. They were hosted for lunch at the Officers’ Mess where Brig Gen S M Mahbub signed the visitors’ book and exchanged mementos with the Commandant SLMA, Brigadier Priyantha Senaratne.
