The 116th Drill Instructor course commenced its training at SLMA on 8th January 2018. In delivering the opening address, the Commandant welcomed all students and wished them success in following the course which runs for three months. The batch consists of 100 SNCOs representing all regiments of the Army.
The Sri Lanka Military Academy conducts Drill Instructor courses as a secondary task.The opening address was also attended by all Wing Heads and respective course officers.
