SILVER MEDAL TO OFFICER CADET MADUSHANKA OF SLMA

Officer Cadet IDN Madushanka of the Sri Lanka Military Academy bagged the Silver Medal at Asian Youth Powerlifting Championship held in KualaLampur, Malaysia under 94kg weight category.

He is a past pupil from the Ananda College Colombo where he was awarded with Ananda Padma Colours for powerlifting. In March 2017 he enlisted in the Sri Lanka Army as an officer cadet and has been following the BSc in Military Studies degree programme with Intake 87. The Commandant felicitated him in person for bringing honour to the institute and the country.
