All under command brigades remained actively engaged in restoring essential services, rehabilitating public infrastructure, and supporting the daily living requirements of affected civilian populations within the Division area of responsibility.

Due to the recent adverse weather conditions, reconstruction work on the bridge located in the Kandaweli area along the A-35 road, which had been damaged, was carried out today (15 December 2025) under the supervision of the 55 Infantry Division. For this task, a troop contingent of 01 officer with 16 soldiers from the 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 02 officers with 21 soldiers from the 9 Sri Lanka Engineers, 01 soldier from the Corps of Engineer Service provided assistance. Additionally, 14 personnel from the Road Development Authority and a team of 40 Indian Army representatives and engineers involved in the construction of the new bridge also participated in the operation.
