In a significant community service, a blood donation program was successfully conducted at Maradankeni Hospital at 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs on 15.06.2025. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc Commander Security Forces – Jaffna, under the supervision of Major General MN Fernando RSP General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division and Commander 522 Infantry Brigade, Colonel JAC Karunathilaka RSP USP. This initiative was organized in response to the critical shortage of blood supplies in hospitals across the Northern Province.

In a heartwarming initiative aimed at empowering the future generation, the 51 Infantry Division proudly conducted a new Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) initiative in Kopay. Under the direction of the Commander, Security Force Jaffna, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc and visionary leadership of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, 9 (V) SLLI which is under 511 Infantry Brigade has organized a school bags donation programme at Palali North GTM School on 29 May 2025.This event saw 40 school children from low-income families receive school bags, extending helping hand for their steps toward brighter educational journey. The presence of the Divisional Secretary of Telippalei, government officials, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents added a sense of community spirit and significance to the occasion.
