A special Bodhi Puja was held at the sacred Naga Viharaya in Jaffna on 09 December 2025 under the direction of the Commander Security Forces Jaffna and the General Officer Commanding the 51 Infantry Division. The ceremony was dedicated to invoking blessings for Tri Forces, Police personnel and civilians who lost their lives, remain missing, or continue to endure hardship following the catastrophic impact of Cyclone Ditwah.

Troops of the 51 Infantry Division under Security Force Headquarters Jaffna continued their community assistance operations across the Jaffna Peninsula on 10 December 2025, marking the eighth consecutive day of sustained CIMIC oriented activities across the Division area of responsibility. All three brigades under command remained engaged in supporting flood affected communities through school cleaning programmes, well restoration work and direct household assistance as the region continued to recover from the adverse weather conditions brought on by Cyclone Ditwah.
