This initiative conducted under the guidance of Major General RKNC Jayawardene RSP ndc, the General Officer Commanding the 55 Infantry Division, was aimed at addressing the urgent blood needs of Killinochchi District General Hospital Blood Bank.

With the guidance of General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division Major General Y A B M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Officers and Other Ranks of 52 Infantry Division along with 523 Infantry Brigade, 23 Battalion the Gemunu Watch and 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment offered snacks for around 1500 devotees who participated to receive the blessing of Our Lady of Madhu during the visit at St. Nikalas Church on 20 April 2024. The devotees extended their gratitudes to the military for such arrangements.
