    Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), conducted an official visit to the Logistic Command (Jaffna) and the 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (4 SLCMP) on 28 March 2025. The visit aimed to strengthen coordination and assess operational readiness within these crucial military establishments.

  • Blood Donation Programme by 521 Infantry Brigade

  • 51 Infantry Division Hosts Successful Seven-Side Football Tournament

    The 51 Infantry Division, based in Kopay, successfully hosted a seven-side football tournament as part of its ongoing Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities. This initiative aimed to strengthen the bonds between the military and the local youth communities of Kopay. The event, held at the 51 Division CIMIC Park Ground, brought together 12 enthusiastic teams from surrounding villages, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship, unity, and teamwork.

  • 36 Riders Passed out after successful completion of training at Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna

    The Security Forces Headquarters Jaffna recently conducted the pass out Ceremony of the Rapid Deployment Bike Division, marking the successful completion of a Quick Reaction Team (QRT) Refresher Course. This 14-day training program, held from 17 February 2025 to 6 March 2025.

  • Special Workshop on Non-Communicable Diseases Detection Held in Security Forces Headquarters Jaffna

    A special workshop on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Detection and Prevention was successfully conducted on 5 March 2025, at the Cinema Hall of the Security Forces Headquaters - Jaffna. This initiative was organized under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc.

  • GOC 51 Infantry Division Visits 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery

    Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 51 Infantry Division, conducted an official visit to the 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 20 February 2025. Upon his arrival at the 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General Muthumala was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of the regiment. During his visit, he addressed the Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, engaging in discussions regarding key operational objectives and morale-enhancing initiatives. As a symbolic gesture marking his visit, he planted a sapling within the camp premises.

  • New Commander of 553 Infantry Brigade Assumes Office
