The Security Forces (Jaffna) marked its 29th Anniversary with a series of commemorative events. On 15 June, a Pirith Chanting programme was held, followed by a tribute to the fallen War Heroes at the Palaly Monument on 18 June 2025. The Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna) Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, was honoured with a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour at the Security Forces Headquarters premises.

With initiative of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, started up a living condition up lifting programme of the troops serving in the division with aim of boosting morale, cohesiveness and welfare of the troops. Under this programme refurnished the Corporals’ Club as the first renovation project. The Renovated Corporals’ Club handed over by Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division on auspicious time on 18 June 2025.

513 Inf Bde conducted a blood donation programme at cultural hall in Karukampanai on 09 June 2025 to commemorate war heroes under the guidance of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, with the coordination and supervision of Brigadier SW Arachchige, Commander 513 Infantry Brigade. Dr. Gunabavan also attended for the event.

The 51 Infantry Division, based in Kopay, successfully hosted a seven-side football tournament as part of its ongoing Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities. This initiative aimed to strengthen the bonds between the military and the local youth communities of Kopay. The event, held at the 51 Division CIMIC Park Ground, brought together 12 enthusiastic teams from surrounding villages, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship, unity, and teamwork.
