Under the leadership of Major EGJP Edirisinghe USP VIR - the Commanding Officer, troops of the 11th Battalion, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment coordinated and organized a stationary distribution ceremony to 125 students of Kirudavil HTM school & Shiva Prakash School on 18 January 2025.
Along with that, they painted the tables, chairs and buildings of Shiva Prakasha School. The event was arranged with the generous patronages of philanthropists’ assistance provide by Kaththoruwe Siridharma Thero, the President of “Manu Sarana Bhikshu Union”.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Buddhist monks, Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, principal, teachers, students and parents of both the schools were attended the event.
