Brigadier Nalin Koswatte assumed office as the 24 General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 23 Infantry Division HQ on Wednesday (20) during a simple ceremony. In accordance with military traditions, Brigadier Nalin Koswatte reviewed the Guard Turnout on his arrival after he was welcomed by the Colonel General Staff of the 23 Infantry Division.

Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Major General Channa Weerasuriya and with the coordination of the Commander 221 Brigade, Brigadier WP Kariyawasam, 2 (V) GR and 17 SLNG Battalions organized a Christmas entertaining programme and offered a lunch for the children accommodated at “Geni Orphanage” Trincomalee on 22 Dec 2020.
