20TH BATTALION OF THE GAJABA REGIMENT CONSTRUCTED A NEW "SAMADHI" MEDITATION HALL AT THE GIRIHANDUSEYA RAJAMAHA VIHARAYA.

On the instruction of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division and the Commander, 221 Infantry Brigade, members of the 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment completed the construction of the newly constructed "SAMADHI" meditation hall for the dwelling monks of the Thiriyaya Girihaduseya Rajamaha Viharaya.

CLEANING OF KUCHCHAVELI BEACH IN CELEBRATION OF THE 76TH ARMY DAY

In line With The 76thAnniversary of The Sri Lanka Army The Defence of the Nation a beach cleaning programme was Organized by the 221 Infantry Brigade Commander Colonel BAMC Beligaswattha RSP located in the Kuchchaveli area the event was held under the full supervision of civil Coordinating Officer of the 221 Infantry Brigade on 10th October 2025 Form 0900 am to 1200 hrs.

ARISIMALE BEACH CLEAN-UP PROGRAM WAS CONDUCTED BY 20TH BATTALION OF THE GAJABA REGIMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH 76TH ARMY ANNIVERSARY

In conjunction with the 76th Army Anniversary, a clean-up program was conducted at the Arisimale beach area, on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division and the Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, under the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment Lt Col Rohana Ekanayake RWP RSP psc GR.

7TH FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT CONDUCTS COMMUNITY SERVICE AT BOSATH DHARMAPALA BOYS’ CHILDREN’S HOME

In celebration of World Children’s Day and the 76th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, troops of the 7th Field Engineer Regiment, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, carried out a community assistance programme at the Bosath Dharmapāla Boys’ Children’s Home, under the guidance of Security Forces Headquarters – (East).
