Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, the 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, deployed under the 221 Infantry Brigade, successfully organized a community welfare program on 12 April 2025 at the Battalion Headquarters, 13th Mile Post – Pulmoddai, as part of the Civil-Military Coordination Program.
Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, the 5(V) Sri Lanka Artillery, deployed under the 222 Infantry Brigade, provided lunch for patients admitted to the Base Hospital Kanthale as part of a civil-military coordination program.
Colonel IB Dasanayake assumed duties as the 24th Brigadier Admin and Quarter of the Security Forces Headquarters (East) on 07 April 2025. The newly appointed Brigadier Admin and Quarter signed an official document, symbolizing the acceptance of his new role.

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding the 24 Infantry Division, troops of the 241 Infantry Brigade conducted a cleanup program at the Little Star Elders' Home in Batticaloa on April 5, 2025.
Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding the 23 Infantry Division, the 4th Gamunu Watch, deployed under the 232 Infantry Brigade, organized a blood donation programme in the Unnachchiviya area on April 5, 2025.
