221 INFANTRY BRIGADE ORGANIZED A RECREATIONAL TRIP

In order to relive from the routine duties and to explore significant places in Area of responsibility 221 Infantry Brigade organized a recreational trip for Brigade staff on 11 May 2025 in General area Trincomalee. 01 x 24 troops participated for this trip. During the trip they visited Kanniya Hot Water Wells, Welgam vehera Rajamaha viharaya, Trincomalee Naval Museum, KoneshwaramKovil and Trincomalee Beach.

20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment Organizes Cleaning and Decorating Program to Celebrate Vesak

In line with the Vesak festival, and under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding the 22 Infantry Division, the troops of the 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, deployed under the 221 Infantry Brigade, organized a cleaning and decorating program at the historic Asirimalaya Rajamaha Viharaya on 11 may 2025.

2 (V) Battalion of Gajaba Regiment Organizes Vesak Dansala

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, and under the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding the 22 Infantry Division, the troops of the 2nd (V) Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, deployed under the 221 Infantry Brigade, organized a Vesak Rice and Curry Dansala as part of ongoing civil-military coordination efforts.

COMMUNITY WELFARE PROGRAM CONDUCTED BY THE 6 (RFT) SRI LANKA ARMOURED CORPS

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding the 22 Infantry Division, the 6 (Rft) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, deployed under the 223 Infantry Brigade, conducted a community welfare program as part of their civil affairs activities.
