Troops of the 11 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, operating under the 243 Infantry Brigade, removed a fallen tree in the Amarthakali area in Batticaloa at 1100 hrs on 05 December 2025. The task was carried out in response to the adverse weather conditions which had caused the tree to fall and obstruct movement in the area. The troops efficiently cleared the obstruction and restored normal access, contributing to the safety and mobility of the local community.
