As part of the ‘Clean Sri Lanka programme the Battalion Training School Punani & 7th Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery conducted a cleaning initiative on 04th February 2025 on mark the Independence day.
Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P R Pathiravithana USAWC psc and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division,troops of the 241 Infantry Brigade conducted a blood donation programme in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Base Hospital Akkaraipaththu at Athaulla Arangam Hall, Municipal Council Akkaraipaththu, on 6th February 2025.
Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, troops of the 7th Battalion, Gemunu Watch, operating under the 233 Infantry Brigade, organized a lunch donation program for the Thilakawathi Children's Home in Kathiraweli on 4th February 2025 in celebration of the 77th Independence Day.
Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division,troops of the 243 Infantry Brigade conducted a lunch and gift donation program for a children's home at Arupani on 4th February 2025.
