With the direction of Commander 243 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 11 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Maj BRMGWAR Balagalla SLSR the well-cleaning programme was conducted on 09 December 2025 from 0730 hrs to 1030 hrs with the participation of 01 x 10 troops. During the programme troops cleaned public well located at the Pandariaveli area had been extensively used by the local community during the recent adverse weather conditions and the cleaning effort was carried out to ensure the continued availability of safe drinking water for affected residents.
