As per the directions given by the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division and Commander 221 Infantry Brigade,
As per the concept of the GOC 22 Inf Div Maj Gen HDLS Perera RWP RSP ndc, under the full supervision of the Commander 221 Inf Bde Brig EWRSB Ehelepola USP USACGSC and under the guidance of Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion the Gajaba Regiment Maj GA Sithara has been organized providing lunch to children of tri/sangamaya primary school in conjunction with world children's day.
In commemoration of World Children’s Day on 01 October 2025, a donation of cricket equipment (leather) valued at Rs. 200,000.00 was made to Aselapura Maha Vidyalaya, Welikanda. This initiative was carried out under the guidance and direction of Major General G P P Kulathilaka ndc - General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division Headquarters, with the objective of promoting and enhancing the cricketing skills of the students.
The 15th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry organized by the Children’s day programme for the children’s studying in Gothami Pre School at Galmatiyawa under the guidance of Commanding Officer 15th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry Lieutenant Colonel K.G.R.N. Kumara RWP RSP USP SLLI. According to that programme we provided lunch and gifts to the pre school students and it was held on 01.10.2025 at the Raja Maha Viharaya in Galmatiyawa.
