DONATION OF DRY RATIONS PACKS FOR FLOOD-AFFECTED FAMILIES IN WELLAWALLI AREA

‎The direction of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division Maj Gen KW Jayaweera USP psc, with the assistance Commander 243 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 11th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Maj BRMGWAR BalagallaSLSR,the program of distributing 50 dry ration packs was conducted for the flood-affected families in Wellawalli.

‎The event took place at 1130 hrs on 05 December 2025 with the participation of Commander 243 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc along with a team of 04 × 10 troops from the 11thSri Lanka Sinha Regiment.

‎The contribution from the 11th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment played a vital role in addressing the urgent needs of flood-affected communities in Wellawalli, strengthening civil–military cooperation and delivering timely humanitarian assistance.
