11th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Tharavikulam under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) Organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clean the surroundings of Sri Mahindarama Temple in Arunapuraon 22th April 2014 with the participation of Dimbulagala Villages.

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Ichalampathu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) Organized a Cricket match with Poonagar Cricket Club at Poonagar Play Ground with an aim to develop the relationship with civilians in the area in Mawadichena on 23rdApril 2014.

15th Sri lanka Light infantry Regiment located under 224 Brigade of 22 Div in security force (East) Conducted a Dengue Prevention Campaign at Mancholei, Sinna, Kinniya and Rahumaniya area on 21th April 2014 with the participation of Health officersand Kinniya Police.

22 nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Serunuwara under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, celebrate Sinhala Hindu new year festival in a grand scale at Serunuwara Public ground in Trincomalee on 22 nd April 2014 several traditional games were organized at the festival with many colorful events such as Raban display, Commander of 222 Bde along with several military and civil dignitaries were present at the festival.

With the direction of Commander Security Forces East Major General SAALPerera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, an English Course was commenced for Officers at the Security Forces Headquarters (East) Welikanda on 23rd April 2014. The Opening Address was delivered by Brigadier KLAS Wijesinghe RWP RSP psc IG, Brigadier General Staff - Security Forces Headquarters (East). The English Course is conducted for 45 x working days with an aim to develop the English Knowledge of the officers serving under Security Forces East area.

233 Brigade located in Vakarai under 23 Division in the Security Forces( East) area, celebrated Sinhala Hindu new year festival in a grand scale at Vakarai Public ground on 22nd April 2014 several traditional games were organized at the festival with many colorful events, Commander 233 Bde along with several military and civil dignitaries were present at the festival.

5th Sri Lanka Artillery stationed in Thopur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the surroundings of "Kanguweli Preschool" in Thopur are on 22th April 2014.

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Ichalampathu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the surroundings of "Pashanapabbatha Temple" in Kalladi on 25th April 2014

27th Sri Lanka National Guard and 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized an Agriculture & a medical exhibition along with a Medical clinic, at Hindu School in Verugal, Mavadichenai on 29th April 2014, with the assistance of Medical and Agriculture faculties of Kelaniya University. Sports items, worth of Rs. 7500.00 were distributed amongst 11 X School in the area. and 200 pairs of spectacles were also distributed amongst villagers who attend for the Medical clinic. Several Military and Civil dignitaries were attend for the function.
