23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment located in Komari under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a “Shramadhana Campaign” to clear the surroundings of Sri Bodhirajarama Temple in Potuvil area on 07th June 2014 with the participation of villagers in the area.

8th Regiment, Sri Lanka National Guard stationed in Periyawadduwan, under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted a "Pooja" at Periyavadduwan Kovil with the participation of Devotees in the Area on 05th June 2014.

23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment located in Komari under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a Cricket Tournament in Potuvil School playground on 07 June 2014. Cricket teams are participated from Methodist Mission Maha Vidyalaya in Thirukkovil, Lahugala Maha Vidyalaya and Madawala Maha Vidyalaya. Methodist Mission Maha Vidyalaya in Thirukkovil won the tournament.

24 Division in Security Forces (East) area donated exercise books and pens in value of Rs 15000.00 for 45 monks studying at Hingurana Siri Dhamma Rathana Pirivena in Ampara at a function on 09 June 2014. GOC of 24 division graced the function as the Chief

24 Division in Security Forces (East) area Donated artificial Limbs in value of Rs 360000.00 for 18 Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim disabled people in Ampara area. GOC 24 Division was graced the function as the chief guest and was Sponsored by Centre for Handicapped on 09 June 2014.

232 Bde Conducted a "Shramadana" Campaign to Colour wash Dimbulagala temple on 02 June 2014 to 10 June 2014 to Mark the "Poson festival" with Participation of Monks and Residents in the area. Comd 232 Bde and all Ranks made their Presence on this Occasion

Security Forces Headquarters (East) Celebrated the Poson Festival along with a Sil observing Campaign, Damma Disscution, Arms Giving and a Boddy Pooja Programme on 12 June 2014 at Security Forces Headquarters (East), Walikanda. Maj General Lal Perera, Commander, Security Forces (East) also made his presence for the above mention activities along with officers who are serving in Security Forces (East), Walikanda.

6th Vijayabahu Regiment located in 221 Brigade area under 22 Div in security force (East),conducted a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the premises of Nilaweli Library in Trincomalee on 09th June 2014 with the participation of residents in the area.

8th Sri Lanka National Guard under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) conducted a Programme, to distribute Thunder Flashes to villagers in Iralakkulam gramaseva division. This programme was held at Iralakkulam School on 08th June 2014 in order to help the villagers to drive away wild elephants.

11th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment located in Vakarei under 233 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) conducted a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the road leading from Narakamulla to Sinha Junction in Koraleipattu area on 06th June 2014 with the participation of villagers in the area.
