231 Brigade of 23 Division in the Security Forces (East) area, Organized a Donation of School Amenities to "Ameer Ali Primary School" in Eravur with the Sponsorship of Mr Rifd Badurdin of Galle, on 23th March 2014. Several Military and Civil Dignitaries were attend for the Occasion.

22 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted a meeting of all Religious leaders in the area on 27 March 2014 with an aim to find solutions for their Problems and to built up religious harmony in the area. Several Military Officers were participated for the occasion.

The Closing Ceremony of the Company Commanders Refresher Course conducted by the Security Forces Headquarters(East) was held at Security Forces Headquarters(East) Welikanda on 4th April 2014.Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, the Commander Security Forces (East) grace the occasion as the Chief Guest .The Refresher Course conducted for 18 X working days along with several Indoor and Outdoor Exercises with an aim to develop the Knowledge and skills of Leadership, Staff Duties, Presentation.......ect of Company Commanders who are serving under Security Forces (East).

8th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Periyawadduwan under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized a Religious programme at Periyawadduwan Kovil on 03rd April 2014 along with villagers in the Area.

233 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized an Eye Clinic for Senior Citizens in Vakarei area at Vakarai Hospital with the assistance of World Vision Lanka Organization on 04 March 2014.More than 150 civilians participated for the occasion.

232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a Medical Clinic along with a Medical awareness programme for residents in Pulakadu,Pondukachchena, Muruthana, Akrana, Khiliweddi, Koralaweli and Kudumbimalei in Thoppigala area at Pulipanchikal School on 05th March 2014 with the assistance of the staff of the MOH office Pulipanchigal and the General Hospital Batticoloa. More than 650 Civilians received treatments from the subjected clinic

8th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Periyawadduwan under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a "shramadhana campaign" to clear the road from Periyawadduwan to Madupulthottam in Thoppigala area on 05 April 2014 with the participation of the civilians in the area

24 Division in Security Forces (East) area Donate a Refrigerator for rhe use of Monks who were studing at "Satraweli Piriwena" in Panama on 07 April 2014 with the Sponsorship of Professor Sumathipala, Mrs Wasanthi Pothupitiya and their family members.

23 Division Celebrate Sinhala Hindu New Year festival in a grand scale at 23 Division play ground in Punani on 8th April 2014 Several traditional games were organized at the festival with Many colorful events A giant Musical Show sum up the New Year Celebration, Commander 23 Division along with the Staff of 23 Division were present at the festival.
