27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in 222 Brigade Area under 22 Division in Security Forces (East), provided Man Power at the opening of a New Building at T/MU/ Ilangathurei Primary School in Trincomalee area on 10 June 2014. ( This included erecting a gateway for guests, building a hut with sheets, arranging the stage, distributing plates and cups for lunch and decorating the festive premises).

Exhibition of the Relics of Load Buddha Conducted at Buddangala Raja Maha Viharaya in Ampara from 12 June 2014 to 14 June 2014. Representing The Sri Lanka Army, Comd Security Forces (East) Maj Gen Lal Perera Visited the Exhibition and Worshiped Relics Exhibited at Buddangala RajaMaha Viharaya on Friday, 13 June 2014. Several Religious, Military and Civil Dignitaries Worshiped Relics along with Comd Security Forces (East).

15th Sri lanka Light infantry Regiment located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Force (East) area, distributed lunch for 56 x students in "Vijitha School" in Gemunupura on 24 March 2014.

18th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Located in Kaththankudi Under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area organized a Volleyball tournament among sports clubs in Ariyanpathi area in Batticaloa with an aim to devolop their sporting skills on 23 March 2014.

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Serunuwara under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a Medical Clinic at Seruwavila temple in Thrincomalle area with the assistance of Maha bodhi Viharaya in-Korea on 24 March 2014.

24 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a Distribution of Artificial Limbs for Disable people who are from underprivileged families in Ampara area with the assistance of "Center for Handicap" Initial measurements of 24 Personnel were taken on 25th March 2014 at 24 Division Headquarters Malwatta, Ampara.
