27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Ichalampathu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the surroundings of "Pashanapabbatha Temple" in Kalladi on 25th April 2014

27th Sri Lanka National Guard and 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized an Agriculture & a medical exhibition along with a Medical clinic, at Hindu School in Verugal, Mavadichenai on 29th April 2014, with the assistance of Medical and Agriculture faculties of Kelaniya University. Sports items, worth of Rs. 7500.00 were distributed amongst 11 X School in the area. and 200 pairs of spectacles were also distributed amongst villagers who attend for the Medical clinic. Several Military and Civil dignitaries were attend for the function.

The Opening Address of the Senior Non Commissioned Officers$ Work Shop conducted by the Security Forces Headquarters (East) ,with the direction of Commander Security Forces East Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG. was held at Army Logistic School ,Trincomalee on 29th April 2014 The Opening Address was delivered by Major General AP DE Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc ,The General Officer Commanding of 22 Division.

231 Brigade located in Kalladi under 23 Division in the Security Forces( East) area, celebrated Sinhala Hindu new year festival in a grand scale at Chenkalladi School Play ground on 27th April 2014 several traditional games were organized at the festival with many colorful events, Commander 231 Bde along with several military and civil dignitaries were present at the festival.

The First Phase of the Senior Non Commissioned Officers$ Work Shop Series conducted by the Security Forces Headquarters (East) was concluded on 02nd May 2014 at Army Logistic School, Trincomalee. The Closing Address was delivered by Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, Commander Security Forces (East). Senior Non Commissioned Officers serving in security forces(East) area were educated to develop their leadership and the Management skills with many lectures and practical sessions at the subjected workshop Several Senior Army Officials were attended for the closing address.

15th Sri lanka Light infantry located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Force (East) area, organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the area of Agbopura Temple in Thissapura on 02 May 2014.

6th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in 221 Brigade under of 22 Division in Security Force (East) area, organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the area around "Senthur Pre School" in Thiriyaya on 28 April 2014.

15th Sri lanka Light Infantry located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Force (East) area, conducted a Shramadana Campaign to Colour wash buildings of Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya in Mollipothana on 26 April 2014.

5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Thopur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized a Distribution of 08 X Bicycles among 08 X Students of Nawalar School in Koonathiu with the sponsorship of ASSIST "RR" Organization on 01 May 2014.Several Military and Civil Dignataries were attend for the said welfare activity.
