With the direction of Commander Security Forces East Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, a Basic Computer Course - 02 which was commenced in association with Orient Academy Limited, for Clark who were stationed in Security Forces (East) area from 28th May 2014 at Security Forces Headquarters (East), Welikanda was concluded on 21st June 2014. The Closing Address was delivered by Brigadier KLAS Wijesinghe RWP RSP psc IG, Brigadier General Staff - Security Forces Headquarters (East).

As per the instruction given by Commander Security Force (East) Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG a lectures on the prevention of HIV Aids was conducted by Dr Kapila Gunawardena of Kandy Hospital, for Offices and Soldiers Serving under Security Force (East) Area, at the Lecture Hall of Security Force Headquarters (East) Welikanda on 30th June 2014.

The Opening Address of the 3rd Basic Computer Course conducted by the Security Forces Headquarters (East) in the Year 2014, with the direction of commander Security Forces East Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG.
