231 Brigade of 23 Div in Security Force (East) area, Organized a Religious programme and offered a Pooja at Siththandi Vinayagar Kovil in Manmunai on 27st March 2014 mark the Mahasivarathtri Day. Joined with villagers in the Area to enhance thair Cooperation.

27 Sri Lanka National Guard under 222 Brigade of 22 Div in Security Force (East) area, Organized a Religious programme and offered a Pooja and Conducted a Shramadana Campaing and around the area at Pulleyar Kovil on 27st March 2014 mark the Mahasivarathtri Day and Kovil poja at Murgan Kovil in Verugal on 01 March 2014 in connection with Devotees in the Area.

12th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Akkareipaththu under 241 Bde of 24 Division in Security Forces (East), offered the Lunch for members of the "Ganesha" Elders Home at Vinayagapuram in Thirukkovil on 27th February 2014 to mark the Mahasivarathtri Day. and Conducted a Shramadana Campaing and around the area.

3rd Sri Lanka National Guard in Panichchankeni under 233 Brigade of 23 Div in Security Force (East) area, distributed lunch Packets for 27 x students at Thilahawadiyar Children Home in Kadiraweli on 27st March 2014 mark the Mahasivarathtri Day.

6th Sri Lanka Armored Corps and 2nd Gajaba Regiment located in 221 Brigade under of 22 Div in Security Force (East) area, Conducted a Shramadana Campaign and around the area at Nochchikulam Kovil and arranged Beli Mal drinks for the pilgrims of Koneshwaram kovil for mark the Maha Shiva rathri day on 27 March 2014.

6th Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Regiment and 2nd Gajaba Regiment located in 221 Brigade under of 22 Div in Security Force (East) area, Conducted a Shramadana Campain and around the area at Nilaweli Mariamman Kovil and distributed Lunch Pakcets at Nilaweli and Thiriyaya Villagers for mark the Maha Shiva rathri day to enhance Cooparation on 27 March 2014.

Security Force Headquarters (East) conducted Command and second in command course at Welikanda. Under Commanding Officers and second in Command who are station under Security Force Headquarters (East) area from 17 February to 06 March 2014 with and aim to enhance the knowledge of Officers with career situation and development.
